Come and discover Norlane through the eyes of local young people in A People’s Guide to (North) Geelong — a community project exploring the neighbourhood, its people and the places that make it special.
Created by young people who met with local residents, the project brings together community stories, place-based exploration and digital storytelling as a public artwork with Virtual Reality.
Take a walk through Labuan Square and use your phone to scan the images, bringing the young artists’ digital imaginings and perspectives of Norlane into view.
Join us for a morning tea at Lab Commons Café, featuring an artist talk and guided walk through the project. Hear more about the stories behind the work, meet the artists and experience Norlane through a new lens.
