Join Tim Ross for a nostalgic romp revealing the untold stories of iconic Australian innovations.
Whether it was the Stackhat, the Splayd or the Speedo, there was a time when our lives were full of home-made heroes – totally beaut things that made us proud to call them our own.
It’s these, and other unheralded icons of Aussie design, that Tim Ross sets his sights on in What A Ripper!
A new, funny talk based on his best-selling book, telling a different story of Australia through the objects we designed, invented, crafted and brought to life during the 70s, 80s and 90s.
This is a show that will make you laugh, make you learn a thing or two and maybe leave you feeling a little misty-eyed…in a good way.
