How can young people be given agency in creating place in order to feel socially included and connected? How can public places better reflect the diverse experiences of the people who live there?
How would you reimagine Geelong if young people had a greater say in shaping the places where they live, meet and play?
This event is playful and participatory, inviting young people and their communities to imagine new possibilities for Geelong’s public spaces and neighbourhoods.
Through creative play and collaborative design, participants share their experiences of Geelong, explore what makes them feel connected to place, and imagine what a more welcoming, vibrant and inclusive city could look like in the future.
