Celebrate the launch of the new Arts, Culture & Heritage Trails Street Art Pocket Guide with a special walking tour exploring the stories, creativity and impact of the Women in Street Art mural trail.
Showcasing a series of large-scale murals by women artists across central Geelong, the trail highlights diverse perspectives, creative voices and stories that contribute to the city’s cultural identity. Discover the artists behind the works, explore the ideas that shaped each mural, and learn how public art can activate spaces, foster connection and create a stronger sense of place.
The tour includes a visit to the newest Women in Street Art commission by Jaz Mishap, Migrant, Mother, Sister – an evocative mural exploring identity, migration, motherhood and the contributions of women across generations.
Presented as part of Geelong Design Week, this walking tour celebrates public art as a form of creative city-making and highlights how design can shape more inclusive, expressive and engaging urban environments.
